No. You can browse game settings, scores, and public reports without signing in.
No. You can add a guest report for one game at a time and use one private link to manage your guest reports. Steam library reports require a connected Steam account that owns the game. Both options support Steam Machine, Steam Deck, and Steam Frame. You do not need to create a separate SteamGamer.com account. Guest reports stay separate from Steam-linked reports in My reports.
No. Your Steam identity stays private. Reports show the score and game details you submit, not your Steam identity. Sign-in happens on Steam's site; SteamGamer.com never asks for your password. See Privacy for what the connection stores.
No. We check that your account owns the game, not that you own the hardware or achieved a particular result. Signing in does not add a public verification badge or give a report more weight.

The community tracker summarizes public milestone reports by product, model, and broad location. It can show Steam Controller reservation windows displayed by Valve, Steam Machine lottery or waitlist outcomes, report counts, queue movement, shipping times, and confidence when enough usable reports exist.
Submit only what the form asks for: the product and model, broad location, relevant dates, a Steam Controller reservation window shown by Valve, or a Steam Machine lottery or waitlist outcome. Add local reservation timing only when the form requests it.
Never submit Steam credentials, account names, Steam IDs, order or reservation numbers, payment details, tracking numbers, addresses, ZIP codes, screenshots, or documents.
No. Tracker reports are designed around product details, broad location, dates, and the optional timing or outcome fields shown in the form. See the Privacy page for the full list of what the tracker stores and what not to submit.
No. The stock tracker checks availability in Valve's stores. The community tracker summarizes dates and outcomes reported by readers.
Source labels show whether a detail is official, reported by others, based on community reports, our analysis, a rumor, or still unknown.
Confidence tells you how much usable evidence supports a claim or estimate. It is not a guarantee.
We correct factual errors on the affected page. When a change matters to readers, we explain what changed.
Email admin@steamgamer.com about corrections, source tips, article feedback, tracker problems, or coverage questions. You can also use our Reddit thread for suggestions and bug reports.
We plan two optional monthly services: reminders to update unfinished tracker reports, and a newsletter about game settings, compatibility, and hardware. Neither sends emails yet. Each requires separate consent and future confirmation.
Reminder signups privately connect your email to your report; newsletter-only signups do not. Unactivated signups expire after 90 days and are removed at the next scheduled daily cleanup. Keep your withdrawal link to remove a signup, or contact admin@steamgamer.com if you lose it. See Privacy for the full terms.
