Make sure any settings guide you consult covers this remake. The older Resident Evil 4 release is a separate game, and its configuration cannot stand in for this one.
Silent Hill 2
For Silent Hill 2, our pick for a more oppressive atmosphere, the graphics median was Medium. Resident Evil 4's was High, although both games had 1080p output medians. Preset names describe each game's own options, so Medium here does not establish how its image compares with Resident Evil 4 at High.
Resident Evil Requiem
Resident Evil Requiem had 16 public observations, the largest pool in this group. Its 1440p output median was above the Resident Evil 4 remake's 1080p, while its graphics median was Medium.
Silent Hill f
Silent Hill f also had a 1440p output median, but its graphics median was High. For that resolution, look for the individual report's upscaling details: 1440p output does not establish native 1440p rendering. An unreported upscaling setting remains unknown.
Cronos: The New Dawn
Cronos: The New Dawn adds a survival-horror choice outside those two series. It had a 1080p output median and a High graphics median, with four public observations. That ties Silent Hill 2 for the smallest evidence pool here, so keep the small sample in mind when comparing its score with Requiem's.
